UK Vet Price Comparison is built and maintained by Ben Alexander Bleier. Ben is based in London and has a professional background in technology delivery, ecommerce platforms, and data systems. He builds data products that make public information easier to find, structure, and use.
Ben has two cats and is a regular user of veterinary services himself. He built UK Vet Price Comparison because he experienced first-hand how difficult it can be to compare vet prices or understand what a consultation, vaccination, or routine procedure should cost before committing. The information often exists on practice websites, in PDFs, or behind phone calls, but it is scattered and hard to compare. This site brings that information together.
Ben also operates ConvexTrade.com, a macro intelligence platform tracking 300+ live economic indicators, which reflects the same focus on making complex public data practically useful. He is not a vet, veterinary nurse, or animal health professional. UK Vet Price Comparison provides pricing data and comparison tools, not veterinary or clinical advice.
What this site does
UK Vet Price Comparison collects publicly available veterinary pricing data from practice websites, published price lists, verified practice submissions, and official registries. It structures that information so pet owners can compare costs, find practices near them, and make informed decisions about veterinary care. The site does not provide veterinary, clinical, or financial advice, and it does not rank practices by anything other than transparent, disclosed criteria.
How the data works
The dataset is built from practice websites, published price lists, verified practice submissions, and official registries. Every publishable price is stored with source and date metadata, and public pages show source labels and checked dates where the data can be displayed. Prices have a freshness window; stale data is labelled, demoted, or removed from public statistics.
Practices can correct their data for free at any time. Corrections are reviewed as data updates, not as advertising requests.
How this site makes money
UK Vet Price Comparison may include clearly labelled affiliate links to pet insurance providers, online pet pharmacies, and related services. If a user purchases through those links, the site may earn a commission.
Affiliate relationships never influence which veterinary practices appear, in what order, or with what data. Practices cannot pay to rank higher or change their comparison position. Enhanced listings, if offered in the future, will be visually labelled and will not affect ranking.

Contact and corrections
If a price, address, ownership label, or practice detail is wrong, report it through the corrections policy route or submit the updated evidence through the price submission form.
Practices can start the claim and update process through the practice claim page. Updates are reviewed against the same evidence rules whether or not a practice has any commercial relationship with the site.
