Write down the monthly and annual payment, joining fee, cancellation terms and renewal date.
These affect the actual commitment.
List each included service, its frequency and standalone price for your pet's relevant plan year.
It avoids double-counting or treating lifetime services as annual ones.
Ask how any stated saving was calculated and what is excluded.
A savings claim only helps if its assumptions are visible.
